Love it! I'm still having issues with the glitter poking my eye. They are satin. Lovely color combo. Lol. It's super pretty!!! What do you think of it? Is it glittery or micro-shimmery?
Oh no! That's not a good feeling! The colors are really magnificent!!!!Love it! I'm still having issues with the glitter poking my eye. They are satin. Lovely color combo. Lol.
I hope they get away with the glitters make them metallic. Tonight I'll try to use the glitter with an angled brush and make it as a liner. Hmmm Oh no! That's not a good feeling! The colors are really magnificent!!!!:eyelove:
You know C, I'm wondering if you can use that center shade w/all the glitter wet---if so that might tame the glitter a bit.I hope they get away with the glitters make them metallic. Tonight I'll try to use the glitter with an angled brush and make it as a liner. Hmmm
Now THAT is gorgeous! Looks exactly like the promo pic!
I've been staying away from Specktra because I'm trying not to buy so much this year.I was modest and only ordered Pandore nail polish. I am really trying not to buy stuff.
So interesting that it's a powder primer. I assumed they meant just a light neutral base shadow to assist in blending the other colours. Does it have a special texture?I tried the eye revival palette and the texture is super buttery and it blends soo well. None of the shades are matte and more satin! The last shade is a cake liner and the first a powder primer. Incredibly easy to work with and no fall out issues either. I tried to get good pic of the swatch but the lighting washes it out and makes the shades more bland,so I excluded that. But here is a pic in natural lighting and much closer to the actual look of the palette!!
Not really! It feels like the rest of the shadows texture wise!! I think it would be neutral base shadow too and maybe they just described it as powder primer for the same reason?!!So interesting that it's a powder primer. I've tried it wet yesterday but once it dries they start to fall off. Btw, I got allergies on my eyes early this am. It's so red. I'm not sure if it's the glitter or the eyeliner in using. I'll try the glitters with a sticky base tonight. My mom arrives tonight at 7pm Pst. She'll stay in San Fo with her cousins until Sunday. You know C, I'm wondering if you can use that center shade w/all the glitter wet---if so that might tame the glitter a bit.:dunno: BTW, does mom arrive today?????
Thanks for the swatches!Ok ladies. Adding my Tangerine Dream swatches to @charismafulltv's! I posted a video of this on my instagram (see signature) that I think gives you the best idea TBH. On my skin tone, that light peach does not pop and it was really hard to pick it up on camera. But in person you can still see peach and it's got a little irridescent finish to it. This palette is really really lovely. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet so I hope I don't get glitter in my eyes! That center shade swatched smoothly despite the glitter so I'm hoping if I'm careful I won't end up with it on my contacts LOL.
It really is perfect for spring and as you said will transition well into summer as well. Hopefully they will restock it soon. I think if you love tangerines, you shouldn't skip this palette! Thanks for the swatches!
That tangerine shade is seriously calling to me. I know I have dupes of the other colours and I have oranges at home, but this particular one looks so fresh and spring-like! It'll carry well into summer. I'm trying really hard to resist purchasing this, but I'm not doing so well. Thank goodness it's out of stock right now!

Oh no with the eye issues. Not good!!!! I hope it gets better quick---maybe give it a rest from the glitter.I've tried it wet yesterday but once it dries they start to fall off. Hehe my bad. But my intentions are good - I just don't want you to have the dreaded skipper's remorse! Since it's temporarily OOS you at least have some time to think about itHey, I'm trying to resist!
