Does anybody here NOT use foundation??

I alternate between foundation days, and concealer/mineral-powder days. Sometimes I need the extra coverage, or if I have a special occasion (a presentation), or if I'm going out at night -- I"ll wear foundation. But for every-day -- just concealer and a layer of Physician's formula mineral wear powder overtop to even me out a bit. I like to see my freckles when I'm just being casual!!

I hope this helps. I think it's perfectly okay to have well-done eyes and lips, and just a little bit of makeup on your face.

I stopped wearing foundation and I've been on the same bottle for two years now, I don't really use it. The only time I do wear it is if I'm going out to a party were imma be dancing. My cheeks get super red when I'm dancing haha.

Me too!

Foundation makes me look darker. If I want to look flawless, i use concealer and sheer loose powder.

Sometimes I use foundation...but it really doesn't do much for me.

Hardly. On most days I just have beauty powder or blot powder on. If I feel bold enough I wear tinted moisturizer lol. I only wear foundation when I've got obvious blemishes or if I'm going all out and need a full face on.

Yeah I definitely am on the same bottle of NARS Oil Free foundation, and I like it, but I don't reach for it anymore. My skin has looked so much better without it. So I picked up the stila tinted moisturizer and some light pressed powder. I think if I can keep myself away from foundation, my skin will clear up for good.

I don't use foundation. Funny thing is when i try, i quickly remove it off coz i feel it looks weird on. I usually have primer, concealor & loose powder on. Occasionally i use TM too.

You know I got Stila's tinted moisturizer and I liked it for the first week until I noticed that it made me REALLY oily. It's just odd because I don't have oily skin ... MACs tint doesn't make me oily but I've only tried it once! I'm scared to venture into tints again.

I tried to get into the whole foundation thing, but it always makes me look worse than I actually do, and also slightly street whorish (just on me, never on other girls!). On some days I'll wear concealor, but any foundations just go bad in my box...

personally, unless your skin is really discoloured, then there's really no need to wear foundation. It honestly feels like you're going out with a clay facial on.

it's not oil free, so that may be why. i have oily skin, but when i use it i don't get oily. are you setting it with any kind of powder? because when i initially put it on, it's a bit shiny looking but after i put my powder on it looks great.

i think i'd only wear it if i was having pictures taken or if iwere going out, like to the JT concert, i have an appointment with an artist at my store to put this 60 dollar foundation on me haha but i'll be dancing and screaming, i don't want it to come off, especially if we go out after.

MAC's Select Tint is oil-free and has a semi-matte finish and whenever I use it frequently, it doesn't make me look oilier. Why don't you try getting a sample?

I have pretty big pores, always have, its genetic, nothing I can do, and foundation looks ridiculous on me. I don't conceal or even use powder. My face is pretty clear and I just don't see the point. I think maybe age has something to do with not caring as much

i usually wear foundation if i'm going out...my skin is really smooth, but it's not of a very even tone

i actually like mineral foundation alot better now though since i've started using it because it stays put. my SFF sometimes moves around or gets splotchy..

I mix my foundation with a moistureiser so I guess I dont really wear foundation, just my own mixed moistureiser.

I mix my select spf 15 with my YSL hydra feel water gel. Its nice and sheer and I never have to touch up really.

I use it because at work we HAVE to wear makeup, its part of the dress code, if it werent wouldnt bother with it. It evens out my skin and blends my freckles away so my boss thinks im wearing a full makeup, but really its just eyes and a tinted moistureiser.

Usually, I just put on my moisturiser and sunscreen and call it a day. For interviews, I'm more inclined to use some liquid foundation and apply powder press over it to be more neutralized. I have found that I don't like a heavy application of liquid foundation, I'd rather use corrective skin and powder press a bit.

Remember, it's not the "routine" they try to sell you on but rather what works for you. And don't forget any important steps that might be determental in the long run.

I have to wear super ridiculous amounts of really strong sunscreen (I have had a bunch of malinant melanomas) so I almost never wear foundation because my sunscreen - Anthelios XL Fluide Extreme SPF 50+ - is pretty sticky and foundation would just make it gross. I wear BE concealer in Bisque in winter, Summer Bisque in summer, and then use either BE sheer mineral veil or tinted mineral veil depending on the season. If I'm looking especially pale I'll use Guerlain Bronzer. I find the combo of sunscreen and powder makes my skin look fairly matte and even in the long run, and even at night I now just skip the foundation because it seems unnecessary.
