Does anyone else NOT feel the need to run out and buy "Barbie"?

Other than Moth Brown, I'm probably not gonna get anything from Barbie. Oh wait, I'm gonna get the Barbie, though!

But yeah... I pretty much REALLY want the Barbie itself, and Moth Brown. I'm gonna do my very best to resist the other stuff, mainly because money is tight, and I'd rather not blow it on makeup.

I'm not going to run out & buy anything from the Barbie collection either. I'm interested in at least seeing it, but from what I've seen the colors aren't really my style. The only product I'd be interested in is Moth Brown e/s, & I already have it.

I only want one of the beauty powders (since I don't have any), the green e/s if it's different enough from previous MAC greens, and *maybe* a lipglass. None of the shades seem especially unique, and I'm trying really hard to not purchase similiar shades to what I already have.

I don't. I'm interested to see the collection in person, but that's just about it. Maybe I'll purchase a lipglass if I like the colour, but other than that, I don't feel the need to run out and buy many things from this collection. Then again, I haven't felt the need to purchase anything from a collection since the Shimpagne MSF came out.

I have an appointment booked for the Barbie event at our counter - that will be my test run, and if something really stands out then I will get it. I like bright pinks - but don't wear them on a regular basis to justify adding more to my collection. The only thing I'm really curious about is Springtime Skipper - but if it's too close to Swimming or any of the other greens I already own, then I will probably make up for my appt by re-stocking staples.

*raises hand* *shrugs* I was never a real barbie fan. Plus, I'm not too much of a 'barbie type' girly girl. I am not a fan of pinks, especially hot pink. BUT Springtime Skipper e/s did catch my eye. That's about it.

I thought the same thing. When I first saw a picture of the doll the first thing I did was check to see if by any chance she was wearing a MAC necklace. Her outfit is tres chic, but would have been more likely to buy if she were dressed all in black. Of course, it's not the 13th yet, I might get even more caught up in it and end up buying her anyway!

I'm not terribly excited for it, the colours aren't very me. I love pink but I already have way to many pinks, and none of the Lipglasses or other stuff really make me want to go out to buy them.

Maybe I'll get the green one. I've already got Moth Brown and I've barely put a dent in that one. There's a dark reddish/burgandy color that I've seen on MUA. Maybe I'll get that too just for the hell of it and a lippie.

I'm a bit disappointed from the reviews I've read of the blushes and beauty powders. Sounds like they are uber-frosty, not so good for me. I am now only planning on picking up Moth Brown for certain. I think this is going to be one of those definitely need to see in person collections, at least for me.

I'm gonna get the Barbie maybe, an eyeshadow and a beauty powder. The lip stuff isn't anything special from what I've seen on the preview. I'm saving my money for Balloonacy.

I was thinking the other day that I wish they would do a collection after barbie that was its antithesis...like a goth-ish one with spiders and skulls etched onto the cases.

I am actually excited, I'm not always stoked about MAC Collections but this ones hopefully going to be as good as it looks.
