It looked like it would be an alarming shade on me when I opened it (like a dark foundation on my NW15 skin), but went on extremely smoothly and more or less invisibly. It sank into my skin leaving the surface far more evenly-textured and kind of 'filled in' my most obvious pores. I can't really describe it any better than that, sorry!

It would probably be a good option for anyone who prefers not to wear foundation as it looked completely natural and didn't need to be covered up by anything. It had a really good mattifying effect and also seemed alright as a base for my Studio Fix.

It's more expensive than Prep + Prime and I'm not sure which stores carry it in the US (I'm in the UK), but it's definitely effective. It even seemed to slightly fill in fine lines on me.

oo funny you mention MUFE! i actually use the MUFE primer #2, and honestly i don't know how much it helps in terms of covering up your pores. it DEFINITELY feels different from smashbox primer though.. it's kind of hard to explain, you might just have to try it yourself to understand. but it's definitely not very spreadable or "filmy" as you say.

as far as the pores go, i would recommend mint julep mask and perhaps the pore minimizing lotion that clinique has

and just as everyone has said thus far, a good daily cleansing regime

For those who have used Biores Pore Minimizing line ( I think it's called), what have your experiences been like? I've been contemplating trying that line for some time...TIA!
