I love e/s but i LOVE pigments! They are more vibrant and pigmented (duh!), easier to blend and everything...Love 'em, love 'em!

Oh yeah, and they are versatile..

I love pigments because they are so versatile but shadows are so much easier! I find that I usually tend to reach for my shadows.

I love using pigments when I want my eyes to really stand out. I use eyeshadows when I want a toned down look, even with blues and greens!

I'll wear pigments when I go out, or when I have pictures, but when I go to teach in a classroom or I'm going to the grocery store, it's mainly just eyeshadow.

Pigments all the way because of the versatility! You can do so much with them. Pigments are what I use 99% of the time.

I love pigments more than e/s but like everyone else I reach for my e/s more when I am in a hurry.

One day I'm going to put my e/s palettes in the closet and just leave out my pigments!

you should try pressing your pigments

i started to press mine and i use it so much more often since i just pop them in my palette

i love pigments way better since you can mix them and it is an eyeshadow.. just not pressed. and you can press them if you want them to be more convenient

I love e/s it's just easy. So I pressed my pigments & put them in palletes to make it easier with less fall out.

Pigments by far! I only own 5 mac shadows total and only because there is no suitable pigment dupe for them - these are Black Tied, Beauty Marked, Li Lily, Parrot and Claire De Lune. I use my pigments every day and I love them loose - the colour actually applies truer patted or rolled on rather than swept and I couldnt see myself without pigments ever!

I think once I get the hang of it... I'll be a pigment girl all the way. The colors seem to pop so much more, but I do reach for the e/s more often because I don't make time for a great face. For now, I'm using HIP pigments to experiment with...and switch over to MAC when I get my game up. I see some of you talking about pressing the pigments and slapping them in your palette. How do you do that?!?!?!?!

Both. I mean, come on!! How can you pick just one?? I like eyeshadows for every day wear, pigments for special occasions because they tend to shimmer more. Plus pigments are just more fun to collect!

Wow, I must be in the minority, I prefer shadows. My eyes don't do frosts very well and all of the piggies I have tried are just way too frosty for me. Plus the e/s, for me, are much easier to use and there is too much fallout with pigments. But I have tried them, I just don't care for them.

I LOVE piggies. I am obsessed with getting as many as possible. They are by far my favourite to use. You don't get much fallout if you pat it on then sweeping it on. They are so much more easier to blend than e/s and way more versatile.

I would say that I use pigments about 70% of the time to my e/s.

I tend to use pigments more because I tend to prefer the colors and well, pigmentation but I do prefer the ease of shadows since it creates less fall out.

because I can find pigment samples for a very good price, I can try so many different brands and colors, much more versatility for me than buying that many eyeshadows, I would have to get four jobs just to afford them LOL, so right now I'm doing far more pigments than shadows, but I do plan to add to my shadow collection slowly

I love the combination of both. I use e/s as a "basic" and then pigments to blend out. Pigments give every e/s a glamourous finish!
