Those pics are cool and all, but really MAC?....Do you really need to be makeup sponsor for 86 shows at fashion week?

I know many makeup componies sponsor shows makeup (such as Nars or Makeup Forever) but i do think its a little ridiculous to have that many. How about let Freelance makeup artists who might already using a great amount of your product do some of these on their own? or are they scared and think they need to force themselves backstage to get their name out because not enough freelancers are using their products? I really like you Mac, but if you dont have faith in the product why should we?

I know im not the only freelance artist on here, so back me up please! lol

Yes last Saturday. The ladies in the new MAC Store in Frankfurt, Germany told me, that there will be travel and try out sizes coming up in September or October 2009.

Thanks for posting that article with the slide show! The pics were fabulous and interesting...minus a select few. There were 3-4 shots of make-up carnage that hurt my heart to look at! Lipsticks with the tops sliced off into palettes, eyeshadows getting dissected, CCB's/Blushcremes with huge chunks missing...OMG stop the madness! My make-up OCDness started to freak out a bit just looking at those pics.

Someone please tell me I'm not the only one!

I try not to get depressed this time of year. August is normally slow anyways, then not being able to do any shows in September because MAC sponsors a vast majority of the shows...and if you don't work for MAC forget it!

Is that gold pigment Gold (pro p/g)? It's soo yummy

Stuff from the slideshow that I have my eyes on:
-- the pretty pink p/g
-- light pink l/s at the front (slide 14)
-- the gold p/g (if it's not Gold from Pro line)
-- teal e/s on the left eye of the face chart (slide 20) (if it's not Strike A Pose)

Can you tell that I'm obsessed with MAC? LOL.
