Any word about whether the Mega Metals are cream or powder? I wonder if they're a reboot of the Metal-X pans or a MAC version of Illamasqua's Liquid Metals?

we suspect it's the same as "metal rock" eyeshadows HerGreyness swatched some time ago. she said she got them as samples, so it might not be the same as the final product. i'm pretty sure she said they are powder and nothing like the metal-x ones

these are her swatches

I don't think this has been posted already. MAC put it up on their facebook page recently. It seems to be a lip palette/quad, or maybe the artist is patting eyeshadow onto the lip. I can't really make out the texture of the product.

Funny, those look like the Lilly Pulitzer cream blushes in a quad. It's not a bad looking group of products, but I think I'd be safe from it: If it's eye shadows, I have a lot of bright colours in the same range, if it's blush or lipstick, I got what I wanted from the LP collection and these don't look different enough to whet my appetite.

I don't know whether I'm happy that I can save some money, or sad that I'm not getting more excited about things.

They are powder, and nothing like the Liquid Metals. I played with one backstage, and they are basically a very soft, smooth, silky, powder.

I just posted a video on my youtube channel, for those wishing to see the new products in action.

(Okay- maybe not.

I'm hopeless)

Haha! I'm kind of feeling the same way. I'm eyeing the pigment sets right now, but if they're anything close to the ones from Little Darlings, I might pass.

Thank you again Spunky and Sleephead

-- for clarification, these ES are:

~ not Metal Rocks (name changed months ago)
~ not the old Metal X's
~ not cream form

They are powder... but they are ultra pigmented (like a pigment powder), they are ultra smooth and buttery and very easy to spread like a cream.. this is new makeup tech at its best.

In additon to the above posted colours, there are about 6 more -- in the nudes, pinks and taupey mushroom shades (yea, the "Dalliance" is included). Which ones will be released for Spring is anybody's guess right now..I am assuming it is the lighter ones, the coppery ones, and the green/turquoise ones... the rest might be part of a more perm collection

It has been nasty and overclouded where I am, but as soon as I get some good weather I will take the remaining pics and maybe do some swatches
