it's actually in my basket at this very moment...Style Curve is a little more purple than Spitfire but, honestly, if you want something that's more purple still (while remaining somewhat sheer and medium in tone), get Play Time from Quite Cute. It's more purple than Spitfire, Style Curve or Quite the Thing, all of which fall on the "slightly more purple side of magenta" category.
Go For It is a bit darker and considerably bluer (can you tell I buy every purple lipstick Mac does?). It's really more of a true purple, IMO.it's actually in my basket at this very moment...i was just holding off making the purchase till i get an offer code....of course i guess i could also very easily fill my shopping basket with other necessary items to get free shipping!
how do you find it compares to 'go for it' from in the groove?
GlamQueen21 mentioned on twitter tht her mac counter manager ctually said the new mes will be coming out in the middle of may! woo hoo!
oh sorry - mes stands for mineralize eyeshadows. so it will be the mineral ones. no mega metals just yet!megametal shadows this may? so is it coming out together with flighty? or maybe with FF? okies im so darn excited! bt Flighty has creamy shadows and FF shadows have the imprint. wat other collection will be out in may?
i'm pleased you're enjoying rocking purpley lips!I'm wearing Go For It today & I LOVE LOVE LOVE this purple color!!!!! I'm glad I bought a back-up, but now I wish I bought two back-ups. It's such a true purple-blue shade. Here's hoping MAC will either re-promote it one day along with Lavender Whip or make somthing similar to both of them. I love purple lipsticks with blue undertones(not sure if that is what they are called, but with a blueish pigment to it).
So is the fluidline for waterline only? Not sure how else to wear it apart from smudged on the lid but itsn't that what PP are for?oooo.. satin velvet lips, greyed eyes, and new paint pots.. even a flesh coloured fluidline..can't say more now.. but lots to look forward to!
ok feeling a little better about style curve....^I agree! Go For It is a true purple, whereas the rest of them can sometimes lean magenta. That's why I have two backups (I used to have four but two of them melted because of where I live). I wear it all the time!
But aradhana, don't worry about missing out on Style Curve. It's nice, but It's not stellar. It definitely turns pinkish on me.
All I thought when I saw a flesh-toned fluidline was that I'd finally have something to help when I don't want to wear much makeup, but end up messing up my lids with the mascara wand... Sadly, I'm serious. I am a horrible smudger.sonia, it is for lining the eye, but with a totally nude shade -- and it won't be out till end of year.. don't worry, we will find a good use for it.
will it be a little similar to the old paints? i wonder why did they stopped doing those...?katred, this will help with smudging -- but will also be shown as the double decker liner -- dark grey/nude on top to really show off the eyes -- kind of Sophia Loren's eye look -- doe eyed can be created easily with this product... again, fall/winter 2012... so maybe I am getting too far ahead.
very far ahead but i like hearing little tit bits of what the future trends will be!katred, this will help with smudging -- but will also be shown as the double decker liner -- dark grey/nude on top to really show off the eyes -- kind of Sophia Loren's eye look -- doe eyed can be created easily with this product... again, fall/winter 2012... so maybe I am getting too far ahead.
