Hi Ladies, off topic for just one second and I do apologize for this. My sweet little Aaliyah Rose (profile photo) just passed away this morning (Eastern Time). She was only 9 years young. This came suddenly. She got very sick on Saturday. My mom took her to the vet for me this morning (I am serving Jury Duty & couldn't get off). The vet said that her kidneys were failing and she had sores in her mouth. That is why my poor sweetie was bleeding nonstop from her mouth this weekend. I am in deep mourning & very depressed right now

Octoberviolet, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your lovely cat. I know this is just so horrible for you. I will be facing this soon with my precious dog. He's been my best friend for 15 and a half years. It will break my heart as I know your is breaking now. You and your kitty are in my thoughts, Sweetie.

Aw.. I'm sorry for everyone's loss. I was devastated when I came home one day and my sister told me my bird died. I was in such denial... :(

MAC should do a "In Memory of" Collection with lots of awesome repromotes on brushes, msfs like lightscapade, beloved lipsticks like CYY, Queen's Sin, etc. In Memory of things and people we love and miss.

What type of she/he? I also have finches. I get emotional when they pass also. They aren't pets to me they are more like "children". I like your idea of a Memory Collection. That is something everyone can relate to and if the products & colors were good, we'd all buy them.

He was a white budgie named Fat Bird (one of the phrases he learned to say LOL). I had heart failure and my mom moved him into the cold basement, (for sanitary reasons I suppose - I had wire coming out of my belly so the dressings had to be changed by my sister everyday) after I was allowed to leave the hospital and stay at home with the equipment that was keeping me alive. I suppose he got very sick from the cold basement and I wasn't aware of it. I couldn't take care of him at that time and later he passed away. You are right about how they are like children. I am pretty angry at my mom to this day since she neglected my bird. She didn't seem to feel bad about it. Even my dog was not allowed upstairs.

Wow.. how awesome to go to Toronto and see how MAC actually makes the stuff we lust after every month! :D

I'm really curious to see what the bloggers came up with and to which extent they were actually involved in the process. I mean, MAC could've only given them like 20 lipglosses and said "Pick ten!". Do you think we're gonna see detailed stories (maybe with pictures?) of the whole thing? And do we know who was involved?

USA online exclusive sounds stupid, though... I thought one of the points of blogs was to be able to get the information wherever you live :(

Almost 3 years ago, so it is still pretty recent to me. I am still on medications etc. Thank you for your concern =)
I keep hoping for Tendertone repromotes. They were the only things that fixed my disgustingly dry and chapped lips while I was in the hospital.

I am curious about this blogger collection. I am sad that there aren't any cheek products and lipsticks involved. Maybe that will change? D:

^ i don't think they will include any other products because they were asked to come up with one shadow and one lip gloss each - no mention of other products

Do we know yet which collection has that Lite Brite cream shadow quad? It sure looked like it was for Summer but I don't think I've seen it listed in a collection yet?

no we haven't had any information on that yet so i guess it will be out in fall. which is silly because i tend to use more cream products in the summer :)

Maybe it's not coming out at all. It was used at the Spring/Summer shows and looked really Summery. But, it might be the centrepiece of some small collection MAC will sneak out in the Summer. I like creams (good ones, that last) in the Summer because they're easy. I know we saw the same format with really dark colours at Fall shows and maybe that one would be nice as a base under pigments or the black-based mineral shadows.
