Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

Okay,I have more info from my manager friend at the counter I go to,this is for fall:


-Mattenes are coming back
-There are the prolong wear shadows,which are supposed to be like mega metals but not so much shimmer,also pro long wear lipsticks,glosses and liners
-Two new pigments in sept.,a black purple and a dusty blue-grey
-Turquatic perfume is coming back in 3 different sizes in Aug!
-Some of the collection for fall in aug. is dark,new fluidlines,nail polishes,a quad and prince noir lipstick
-New limited edition paint pots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-There will be 2 quads in aug,and 2 quads in sept.
-there will be a pro collection coming out in sept as a limited edition collection,I believe it will be available on the regular site

I'm really interested in quads (but I hoped no collections in august because my wallet needs to breathe)
pigments!!! the purple one sounds more for me
paint pots!
of course something from prolongwear new line

I guess the strange quad with graffiti design could be part of the holiday collection glitter and ice...

yup mine are still good too. in fact i have paint pots from 2007 that are still creamy!

Do you usually get the August collection on the same date as the US or is it also a month delayed? Maybe you (and your wallet) get a breather during August.

The graffiti palette is supposed to come out on Sept 29 (see above posts).

yeah technically i am sure that i should have thrown them out. but they haven't changed texture, don't smell and i always sanitize everything to keep things germ free i'm weird like that!

The graffiti palette is supposed to come out on Sept 29 (see above posts).

I hope the collection with quads or pigments will come in september indeed!! I didn't remember of the graffiti palette coming in september too .... uhh no I haven't read it at all!! If it's 29 of september is the graffiti palette supposed to be part of a special packaging collection?

I don't know, but a few posts (or pages) back, somebody posted that it was supposed to come out on the 29th. I sure hope it will be part of a special packaging collection.

I am travelling and taking some time to chat for a few minutes.. I just saw your posts on the new Johnny Weir collex..

I have a few paint pots from this -- although as you all know I never know where they are really going because I work on them 18 mos+ in advance, I also have mattenes (which I did mention before) and some piggies.

I will try to post it all when I get back in a week because the stuff is in my office.

the paint pot I most remember because I tested it on myself was Let's Skate! It's a pinky creamy colour (like Yogurt the ES but in paint pot) with a glorious sheen and teeny tiny micro shimmer.. it is gorgeous on! There is also a taupey greenish colour -- no wn just sn for now... Let's skate did have a wN so it might be called that. This should be a fun collex.

Becky.. these are not like Champale at all.. they are finely distributed minute particles of shimmery deliciousness.. not the big rocky chunks from Champale (who I ratted out at first site.. lol.)

Mac Guy.. you will get your liners as well as the paint pots.. they are really lovely.
