Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

I think the MAC Me Over collection will be my biggest haul to date. All those veluxe pearl shadows, the quads, the shadesticks, the lipsticks and glosses...O_O

There is more,because there is the graffiti palette that comes out Sept 29,and the 2 pigments.I just don't know the name of the collection they belong to.I will try to find out and let you all know.

OMG, information overload!!!

For MMO, I think I'll pick up Prince Noir, one of the quads, then I'll make my own quad with Creamy Bisque, Moleskin, Mythical and Carbonized. If there's one of those I'm not fond of in person, I'll swap it in for a perm colour in the same family that I don't own yet. I've been itching to build a new quad in that colour family anyways. I might also pick up a Street Cool and Dark Diversion, Seaside CCB and the 226 Wooh! Looks like this one's gonna cost me...

Paint Pots, Fluidlines and Shadesticks, not to mention eyeshadows - how on earth am I going to be able to afford all the things I want? We've yet to get Semi-Precious and Fashion Flower here, too. Thank goodness one of these collections is full of new permanents so I can spread the cost

Yikes, so many great products for fall collections. I definitely have my eye on the new mattes from MAC Me Over, but all the descriptions for paintpots & shadesticks sound amazing.

With all these LE collex pouring out, I almost never make it to the perm item anymore.

the graffiti palette will probably be part of the special packaging collection we'll have in september/october (such as VV last year).....and I want too many things from MACmeOVer.... so for me it's a problem....Mac me over in september+ special packaging collection september/october+ a pair of mattenes and paint pots in october............+holiday collection in october XD I must limit myself T____T but I already want too many things .........

I'm really excited about the new collections coming up. For Mac Me Over, I am skipping all the lippies. The descriptions don't do a thing for me, so unless the swatches magically knock me out, I'm skipping. It's all about the Lady Grey quad and shadows in Creamy Bisque, Outre, and Carbonized. I've owned a couple of shadesticks and I'm not a fan, so I'm skipping those, also. Would've preferred GPS's. I am also not a fan of fluidlines, but I will be buying two 226 brushes. That will bring me to three. I covet the one that I own already. I'm skipping Seasonally Supreme b/c I don't even wear the SS's that I have. Something about the shape of them puts me off. For Posh Paradise, I am all about the paint pots! Treasure Hunt, Nubile, Genuine Treasure and Imaginary will be coming home with me. I am still staying miles away from purple. For Styledriven, I only like a few things. I'm looking at the shadows only, really. I want that kelly green shadow(I love that shade of green so much!) and maybe Sunny Outlook(bright golden yellow) and Pink Frontier(soft golden pink). It's all perm and I would say that I can collect them one at a time, but I know nothing about moderation. The bloggers collection has reignited my love for eyeshadow and so that's all I'm about now. The really eye-catching colors. I am done with lip products for the most part because I have SO many and from different brands. I think my list is relatively short and reasonable. I can't wait to play with everything, though. My small Mac hauls here and there will still allow me to buy from my other favorite brands b/c I know Nars, Chanel and Mufe are going to bring it next season. Exciting times. :happydance:

my first MACme over "small" list (if I have few money to waste) is:
lady gray quad (it seems very promising)
runaway lipstick
266 brush
2 things between fluidlines and ccb..... but I like them all!!!! If I have money I'll probably take the two CCB and three fluidlines (skipping the blue one...maybE!).... of course I'll wait for swatches^^

Words cannot express my feelings of delight right now with all these Fall collections. I nearly fainted at my mom's tonight when I saw the MAC Me Over Collection. Prince Noir will be mine!!!!! In fact, why don't the rest of you just sit back and save your money and let me go CRAZY with all these amazing items in each collections???? No you say?! That's alright. I'm just joking. I can't wait to come back here tomorrow and chat with all of you and see what items we are all planning on buying. As of now, Prince Noir, Runaway Red, Smoked Purple are on my must buy list. There are lots more from this and the other collections. Heaven help us all.

ok after HOURS of looking at these fall collections.. i realized im skipping ALL except for a few things from mac me over lol. and when i mean few i mean like 4 things. I have enough makeup to last me forever and those 4 things might dwindle down if the swatches don't live up to my expectations..
