Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

I am hoping that mac me over and cindy s are in 2 different months as that would be a little easier on our wallets! Also, the dates mac give for european releases are never specific and then we end up getting the likes of surf baby before the US but fashion flower the same day as semi-precious gwrrrrrr!

I love paint pots, fluidlines, pigments and quads and along with the release of lightscapade and the 226 I am going to have to be very selective as to what I buy. On the other hand, I am hoping to get a nice haul of semi-precious goodies on Thursday and then after that it looks like all the good collections are not launching till september which gives me a couple of months to save!! I will buy a couple of glam glosses in the mean time to tide me over...wow I sound like such an addict!

here in europe things are different... If I am not wrong we will have:
SEPTEMBER
mac me over (follower of fabulous felines)
styledriven (permanent follower of prolongwear line)
cindy s (the 29 in usa...so we will get it in october?? maybe follower of rodarte?)
art of power (same as above)

OCTOBER
posh paradise (maybe follower of the nail lacquer collection? XD)

I simply have to save more money as possible and wait ^^

Don't forget the Matchmaker foundation (maybe it will be part of Styledriven) and the Cheek Sculpture collex, for which I am most excited about.

ahahah yep I try not to look at them I also have to buy uhm... 100 euro of permanent products -____- because I need a fuondation for the winter, the primer vibrancy eye and so on... argh...maybe I could look at this matchmaker foundation! I won't look at the cheek sculpture if they are cream products because I have oily skin

Yep, we did get that in the UK.

last year in USA there was a nail lacquer collection but it never arrived here in Italy... I don't know if it has ever arrived in europe... the one with concubine nail lacquer, rain of flowers, jade dragon ...

This Fall will really be expensive for me.....it is not only MAC releasing wonderful collections....Chanel and Guerlain too!

*I think* we did receive it here cause I remember seeing a display of these polishes last year but this was when I had just got into MAC so I never really paid attention to them or Fabulous Felines! It was all about the Venomous Villains collection back then with me!

Meh, the combination of tuition fees and new MAC collections is not a good one! I feel your pain!

Wouldn't it be fun to have a back-to-school collection which would include a discount if one has a valid full-time student ID? Considering that most clothing stores offer some sort of back-to-school discount in August/September, it would be a stunning idea, though I can see how this would cause a lot of difficulties for those ordering online.

Love that idea! One could always use an NUS card to get the discount online!
