Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

Well, it's essentially a cream product that can be used in any way you want (eyes, lips, cheeks). It is just too creamy to have enough staying power. It's certainly gorgeous for a photo shoot or any editorial work where you can constantly touch up.

I like it for highlighting (Hush). The red-brown CCB that is coming out might be great for an "oily-slick brown lid" look - a similar effect that you might achieve with a gloss. If I buy it, then it's for eyes only, especially as MAC has enough cream blushes (and lip products) that have a similar color.

I only buy multiples if I really like the product and know that I will finish it before it gets repromoted. I usually test the product for a day or two before I go back for seconds, but that's not always possible.

i'm now not sure sure that will actually be released. we saw it at fashion week so perhaps people had just meted down lipsticks into a quad thing for easy transportation?

Pro but available on the regular website (at least for a while). If it's Pro only, you can still order it over the phone.

A co-worker of mine just mentioned she loves MAC also. She mentioned her favorite lipstick shades, which I have never heard of below. I would love a re-promote of them or if any of you remember them, can you let me know if you liked them or not. Tx!

• Blueberry Fizz - sheer deep purple
• Pink Poodle - sheer vivid pink with blue undertone

I don't know about Martooni or Blueberry Fizz, but Pink Poodle is a lipglass and is permanent

I have Blueberry Fizz. I originally bought it to go over a purple lipliner to make my lips an intense purple for a costume. Recently, I picked it up again and found it to be a very pretty, sheer, shimmery purple when applied with a light hand. Surprisingly wearable, even on a pale gal like myself.

ah ok then! so it really is happening! i shall skip though because i hate applying lipstick with a brush really! i much prefer using it from the tube. although for travel it would be great!
