WOW That is a lot Lou....it's ok that pay day is tomorrow. That gives u time to really sort out what you really want and calcuate the cost and what u can afford rather than give in to impulse buying. You'll make better choices tomorrow :)

yeah i think you are right. i mean i have now taken all glosses from my list off. i played with my glosses last night a realised i have way too many! i just wish i knew how much i was going to be paid!!

I am going to go into store for the launches on Thursday. The way I am going to approach it is focus on mac me over because it's the big le collection. The likes of the bags and perfume will be around for awhile and I will play with styledriven and the foundation in store but will wait to pick them up over the next few months. My favs from styledriven will end up on my perm wishlist to be collected over time and my hubbie will prob end up getting me some for Christmas!!

believe me, if i was in L.A. right now, I'd probably have sneak peeks of everything that was in already and I have ZERO problemo rattling on about what I see. For me, I just get along really well with my store manager on a friendly level and also I buy a crap load of makeup there, to the point of going out of my way to shop at that location rather than anywhere more convenient. I guess they feel like it's all good to indulge my curiosity - we wind up sitting around playing with stuff together in the back room for a few hours and have fun hanging out.

do we really have to wait until october to have a color story for Glitter & ice? if it's the holiday collection shouldn't it launch in october too? and Gareth Pug? I though we should have had some news in september .. hope to know something soon ^^^^

I share your optimism for the Weir collection. As a skater, he didn't resort to cheap tricks but showed great refinement that comes from a commitment to excellence, high standards, and a lot of hard work! Hopefully, he'll bring some some of those qualities to to his collection and not just glitter:)

My store has had their training for everything through the end of the year. If I go in on a launch day then they're really busy but if I go in when it's slow then they're usually happy to open up the book and talk about what's coming up.

just curious - how come you don't know how much you are getting paid, lou?

i guess it's kind of good to have the extra time to cross stuff out...and thus hopefully avoid impulse buys!

i work on commission so it changes each month. i get a basic wage and then i get a percentage of my stores takings on top of that. so if my store does well - i do well. it sucks sometimes not knowing how much i am going to get. plus they never give us pay slips on time so i just have to wait until the day and check my bank. :) today though i have been paid! :) woo hoo!
