Ecotools Brushes

I used my "finishing brush" (that's what Eco-Tools calls their dual fiber one) with SFF for the first time today and it came out flawless! I usually stipple my foundation on with my 188 which I still love, but the Eco-Tools brush is better for me. The Eco-Tools brush is stiffer and I'm guessing because it's all synthetic and it's very dense...doesn't shed like my 188 either. Pure love! I had got the Alicia Silverstone limited set for $3.74 on clearance at Target last weekend. I copped a great deal.

My sister has the fluffy powder brush, and OMG, I worship it! I want one like woah. D: If she has it with her when I go home, I always steal it to get a soft, blended look with my blush.

Wow, these brushes sound fantastic! I work right next door to a Target so I will be making a trip there tonight after work. I hope to find the brush set.

I find that the finishing brush that looks like the MAC 187 soaks up a lot of liquid products like foundation rather quickly. I found that it's good for applying MSFs and blushes.

I really want to buy these brushes but they are like $39 NZD (around $27 USD) for the cheaper pack (last time I checked). I'll probably give in and buy them anyway though. I've never touched anything so soft before :) haha

I got the five pack of these brushes and really like them. The blush brush is SO SOFT! I just want to rub it on my face all day, lol. And the angled brush is great for cream liner!

I tried out my duo fiber brush (finishing brush I think they call it) and I find that it's not good to use with liquid foundation because it soaks up a lot of product and quick. I just use it for blush 100% of the time.

I always pass these by at Wal-Mart but after reading so many great reviews on here and mua, i think i'm going to have to give it a try! What are the top must-haves from this line???

I love my Eco Tools brushes, but I want to add that I find that the blush and powder brushes sold separately are better (more dense) than those in the sets. I still like the sets because you get the eye shader brush (which is great for Paint Pots and I really need to get a few more). I have yet to get my hands on the bronzer brush though and I've read good reviews about it.

The powder and blush brushes are AWESOME; super soft and great for distributing powder products evenly. Just be sure to buy them separately instead of in a set; many brushes tend to better outside of sets.

The limited edition Alicia Silverstone set that was out around Christmastime (the one with the duofiber brush) is now at my local WalMart. Now it comes with a larger, better case/makeup bag.

^ oh yes I did see those at Wal-Mart the other day but I hesitated to pick them up. I bought the brush set for 10.99 I believe and was thoroughly disappointed in them. I mean they are superrr soft but that's about it. I felt like it wasn't dense enough to put blush on, and the powder brush seemed flimsy to me. The only brush I use is the Angled Eyeliner Brush.

But I do want to try the bronzer brush, and after hearing that the brushes bought alone are better than the sets makes me want to try them out again because they are seriously super super soft.

I've washed my eco tools brushes three times now and they are still great! Still soft...to the point that my 18 month old tries to steal them and rub them on his face!
Can't wait to try more!

well, not necessarily; i bought my ecotools brushes in a set and they are all flawless. it's amazing how they NEVER shed! i wish i wasn't such a sucker for MAC brushes and could just stick to cheaper, equally good ones

I've had my Ecotools brushes for almost a year now and they've held up very well! They're fantastic quality, especially considering the price.

yep I agree.. I bought them over a year ago too. I bought three sets for my work and personal.. and to be honest, they don't smell, they don't bleed, and they are soft and do a great job applying, blending and buffing.

I recently bought the buffer brush which is excellent too

i recently just purchased my first two ecotools brushes (the bronzer brush and blush brush) i even included them in my drugstore haul video on my YT channel lol (channel in siggy!)

i then was so in love with it, i went back and got the retractable kabuki - it's awesome..

i'm looking for a powder brush, my MAC 134 is huge on my face.. but the MAC 150 was big too, but scratchy feeling on my skin so i sold that one.. and i'm looking for one.. the powder brush from ecotools seems so soft and i wanted something more firm or is dense the word?

is there any other brush yall would recommend?
