My grandfather was an amazing man. Born to a milkman father, only got to go to school until 5th grade but was one of the smartest people I've ever met. No airs or graces about him and he didn't suffer fools gladly, but he was one of the gods of my childhood. Every child should have the gift of being loved unconditionally like that. I named my son after him.

Awww. This reminded me of my grandfather too. He was the greatest man I have ever known and it sounds like yours was just like him. Thanks for reminding me how blessed my childhood was and I love to see people honor their family the way you did!! That was awesome. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

I can't explain it... They just ARE! The Loreal Infallible eyeshadows are compared to Armani Eyes To Kill, but a fraction of the cost. They are like a creamy, pressed pigemnt of sorts. We just started discussing them in here because several of us were wondering if they were comparable to these EC shadows. Some say yes, others (like Temptalia) say no. I haven't placed my order for these EC Shadows yet, since I'm waiting for IV to show up on MAC, but when I do receive them, I'll compare them and let you know what I think. Either way, the Loreal shadows are fantastic and a welcomed addition to my stash! They are great products in their own right. I think everyone should try at least one since they are so cost affective.

I love mine too. I only have three, but it is likely I will get more. I love Endless Sea over a teal liner for a crazy beautiful eyeliner!

Including ones not even available in the US!!"  HeeHee (Herbert!)  When I finally get to order these (im-patiently waiting the appearance of IV on Pro), I will let you & purplerinne know of any Loreal dupes I might have compared to the very few of these I'm actually getting...  purplerinne... These Loreal infallibles are INSANELY AWESOME!!!  I have big expectations for the EC shadows at TRIPLE the price of the Loreal babies!

For those in the US, what are the good stores to buy the l'oreal infallible shadows? Would it be Ulta, or would a walgreen's or something be okay? We're headed to massachusetts in two weeks for a wedding, so I might try to throw in a little makeup shopping if we have time The wedding is out in a small town, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to any major shops! I liked a couple of the pinky coral infallibles and a mauve one I swatched in the drugstore here, but as audreyC mentioned, $12 -$13 seems mad when they are available for a third of that!

Some of those colors you are referring to are not available in the US though... But we have some colors unique to us as well! Happy Loreal Infallible Hunting!!

Weird, I just checked the site and it's up if you go through the site map but IV and Dynamo are listed as coming soon. I want to get Dynamo still but worse comes to worse I'll order it from Nordies as they have something else I want that is out of stock on MAC's site.

I hate the ulta near me lol they don't let u use multiple coupons and online u have to spend $49 for free shipping....

My ULTA doesn't let you use multiple coupons at the same time. So I buy what I want, then return the next day to use another coupon. I print multiple copies of the same coupon off of ULTA's website and use as many as I can before they expire. The B2G1 free offer shouldn't count as a coupon because it's a promotion, so you should be able to use a coupon with it.

Dang it! I can't take it anymore! Now that I got that last purchase out of the way, I am going to buy these! I have only resisted because I like to punish myself for how much I spend on makeup... That plum one has my name all over it! :eyelove:
