Hello!!

I am so excited, I've always wanted to go to this sale but I didn't want to buy tickets. Well, someone at my brother's work was giving a few away and he managed to get one for me!

The ticket is for Saturday. I've seen variations of this question asked, but I'm wondering the following: How early should I line up on Saturday morning? I'm already assuming it's going to be a long wait, but if I get there by 7:30 or 8, is that too late?

Hi there!

I went last year in December and let me say it was way more crazier on Saturday morning than it was on Friday or Sunday morning that I went. I arrived at like.. 8:15-30AM and there was already a long line up. It wasn't that bad, the only thing is that if it's cold that morning to bring a warmer jacket. That's not too late actually

I got in after 20-30 minutes and I was in the middle of the long line.

I'm still trying to look for 2 Saturday tickets so if anyone is kind enough to give them away, please PM me

One of these days I'll get to go....maybe not this weekend....but eventually!

So sad...the MA for MAC that I know that comes into my work totally left without me talking to him about this sale

I doubt he had any invites left....but a girl can dream, can't she?!

Haha, the first time I bought a concert ticket on Craigslist, I followed the guy to his car and took his licence plate number and description in case he ripped me off. It was real....but you never know!

I have one ticket for tomorrow that I've decided not to use. Free to whoever PMs me first and comes to get it from me in North York (just north of Yonge/Sheppard, subway access) tonight or tomorrow morning

UPDATE: Ticket is gone! Enjoy ladies! I have a big day and I don't feel like getting up early and freezing my behind off. Last sale was awesome esp friday morning and I'll go to the next one, so I'm okay with missing this one. My friend is doing some small shopping for me. I got lucky w/ the Jimmy Choo/H&M sale too! I was in St Maarten and my friend waited in line for 13.5 hours and did all my shopping for me!

YAY I Managed to get two tickets for this Saturday's sale without paying for anything ^_______^. Got lucky again. Can't wait to go!!

Anyways, to the person who asked what the fake ticket looked like, I wish I had taken a picture at the time so it could benefit others, but I was simply too mad at that time so no picture D:. I think I remember the cards not having the EL silver label it's suppose to have along with the type at the back with the rules and such was very blurred and not clear. Luckily the second time I went I was able to get a real ticket and was able to identify what a real and fake ticket looks like now. Be careful out there to those who are buying or getting a ticket on craigslist, etc!

Friday is by far the best day to go...smaller lineups etc (I think they may give out less Friday tickets). If you are going on Saturday or Sunday your best bet is the mid-afternoon. By going in the afternoon you do chance that some stuff will be sold out but there is also stuff that sells out on Friday as well. I have gotten in at 11am on Friday morning before and some stuff was already gone. Friday in the afternoon is also good as there's usually not a line then either.

How bad were the lines?
What's in the cahrity bags?

I'm going tomorrow, hoping to be there around 11-11:30ish. Do you think the line-up to get in will have died down by then?

Hey guys,

I went this morning around 845, lineup not too long. I don't know if it was just me, but I found some of the stuff to be more expensive ie...makeup bags. They didn't have the buy 3 get 1 free MSF's, blushes...etc $12 each. The charity pkg was well worth it.... 1 MSF in Smooth Merge, 1 e/s in Tempting, 1 Mineralized blush in Cheek and Cheerful, and 1 lipglass in Miss Marble. Overall it was ok, same stuff they have every sale with a few exceptions.
