Just a correction to the above post with the ticket colours. The Sunday ticket is light purple not white. The Friday and Saturday colours listed are correct.

Oh is it? Sorry! In the picture I saw, it looked white! Probably because of the flash

Sorry if this has been asked before.. but from my understanding, Estee lauder employees are given these tickets for free.. So MAC muas, clinique employees.. Last time I bought my ticket it said the invitee was SCOTIABANK?! How does that work.. I dont get it. Then another time it has the name of some electronics company.. so how do those companies get the tickets then?! I asked a friend who works at Scotiabank and he was like "huh?? whats that?"

So if anyone knows.. can you please tell me?! Lol I'm confuseddd...

MAC also gives tickets to neighbouring businesses of their warehouses and offices as well as to companies that they deal with. So perhaps there is a branch of Scotiabank that maybe is close to them or that they deal with that gets tickets. I doubt that all of Scotiabank gets tickets.

So I caved, and it looks like I'll be going on Sunday after all. So please post the scoop from Friday/ Saturday - I'd like to know what to look forward to, and then I can be appropriately disappointed when all the good stuff sells out :) But really, I'd love to know where they hide the Pearlglides and other eyeliners, so if anyone sees any please let me know where to look for them. Thanks!

Has anyone here been to the December sale on a friday? Im hoping to go around 1 but Im afraid the lines might still be hella crazy.. anyone have an idea?

I went to the Estee Lauder Warehouse sale today. Today is Friday, 3 Dec 2010. The prices of pretty much everything have gone up. For example, eye shadows, pigments, shadesticks were $9, now they are $12, quads were $15, now they are $25, face compacts were $12, now they are $15, concealers and nail polishes were $7, now they are $9, lipsticks were buy 1 get 1 free at $15, now they are $10 each and foundations and mascaras were $10 and are now $12 each. The charity bags are still $5 each, thank goodness!!!

Overall, if you've never been to the sale, you will still have a wonderful time getting things, but for those of us who go there 12 days a year, it was disappointing due to the price increase.

oh wow! price increase? well, i'm not surprised. although $12 is still a good deal for full-sized pigments... as for lipsticks, not so much. especially since these can go bad so fast and we all know at the end of the day that this is discontinued/old items.

I really like the 41 lashes so i hope to get those tomorrow. *cross fingers* that charity packs are good tomorrow!

BTW, did anyone see MAC cleanse off oil? and how much were those?

and there were mascaras?? what kind?
