Do you do your eyes first, or your face first when applying makeup? Why do you do it that way?

I personally do my eyes first and my foundation second.
That way when theres fallout from eyeshadows or pigments, no problem! you can just wipe it off before you apply your foundation.

i do face first, i crunch for time in the morning, and cant walk out the door w/o covering my dark circles but can skimp on e/s routine, if need be,

also if i do my eyes first, i feel like my sloppy/quick foundation & concealer application will screw up my beautifyl eyes!

I usually do my face first, but that's just concealer, foundation, and bronzer. Then I do my eyes, and after my eyes, I finish my face. I just don't like putting on eyeshadow if my skin doesn't already look good. Maybe that's weird.

Eyes first, and even more backwards than some, eyeliner and mascara first! Habit came from early sloppy liner application and needing to dig into my lashes for mascara which made splotches everywhere. I'd use a q-tip to clean up before doing undereye concealer and priming the eye. Just makes sense to continue with the eye then finish with the face.

**edit** I also like to take more time with my eyes, so if I'm running late I'm more okay with cutting corners on my face than my eyes. =)

I do my face first...I agree, FiestyFemme! The only thing that I don't do on my face before my eyes is blush/contour. I want my skin looking good first but I touch up around my eyes for any fall out from my eyes. It's just habit, I guess.

Face first bc then I can spend time on my eyes and if I don't have time for eyes it's easier to carry a mascara & eyeliner with me to put on later than to take my all my face stuff. Also bc I like to put concealer & powder on my lids to lighten them & cover up some dark spots. Plus I've never had a problem with fallout.

I have to do my concealer, foundation, & contouring first. Then I will do my eyes, blush, MSF or beauty powder.

Face first for everyday makeup and simple looks = I can focus on covering my dark circles and just sweep some shadow on my lids and gloss on my lips.

Eyes first for anything more involved. I put shadow on my lower lid for more dramatic looks, and I like to clean up any fallout with concealer and foundation afterwards.

depends on the day...if im rushing to school ill do my face first and slap on some neutral eyeshadow and mascara...if im going all out and doing my eye shadow ill do the eyes first to prevent fallout all over my face.

Face first - if I run out of time, I'd rather my skin was looking nice plus a quick bit of subtle eye make-up than fancy eyes and careless foundation. I don't really wear any dark colours so I'm not much troubled with fallout.

I do my eyes first, but I don't do a ton on the face-just a little MSF or iridescent powder or blush. I'm a stickler, mascara, waterline liner, then shadow. Then cheeks, and then lips.

I rarely mess up my eye makeup and tend to go with face first as in the essentials, evening out the skin, etc. Blush and lips are always last though. Eyes are second but the funnest part of course.

I always do face first. I usually don't have fallout (because I mainly use my pigments wet), and if I have a little, it's nothing a little Kabuki can't wipe away easily.
