I've purchased the new paint pot in Bare Study yesterday. Used it as a base to bring out the shadows. I had fell asleep early with my makeup on =x and when I woke up my makeup was still in place with this dewy look. Highly recommended since my makeup was still in place!!!

The mac eye primer is cool, but you will not use 2 layers or add with fluidline or stila shadow pots.

yes the paint pots are a nice e/s base if applied thin to the eyelids. if you want something cheaper BUT JUST AS EFFECTIVE for an eyeshadow base, try Wet N Wild's Mega Eyes Cream Eyeshadow. they come in this little tube much like the MAC paints do and they're awesome at keeping eyeshadow crease-free. the best thing is that they're only $2.99/ea! i also heard people using the Revlon Cream Shadows as bases (applied thinly) but i've never really tried that...i just stick with the WnW ones.

L'Oreal De-Crease (it's like $10ish - NOT the wrinkle de-crease!) is nice too, but if you're going to go with that i personally would just spend the extra $4 and get UDPP or MAC Paints/Shadesticks. i personally don't like the shadesticks. i like the idea of them but IMO they don't apply very smoothly.

I use MAC paints and paint pots AND MAC Matte to prevent creasing. MAC Matte is a clear gel that can be applied to the face or eyes to prevent shine.

I apply MAC Matte first, from lash line to brow and then I apply paint or paint pot. I have oily skin and the Matte + Paint combo helps control the oil and prevent creasing.

I want to try UDPP, but I am worried about blendability.

ITA. The only times I've had difficulties blending with UDPP is when I've used too much or the time I tried putting shadow on immediately after
