is anyone else disappointed after seeing the swatches? I was so excited about the paint pots, but nice vice is more maroon than purple, girl friendly is muted in color, and rollickin looks too much like otherwordly. And all the lipsticks are lustre or glaze--can we get a bright summery satin or matte in the house please? I am so disappointed.

I saw some swatches on another site. I really would love to see the club eyeshadow in lipstick form. That might be cool to wear. I'll probably wait on that quad until I have my makeover at the end of this month.

Still liking Perky pp, Flash 'n Dash l/s, Hipness and Fashion Frenzy blushes.

I just saw the swatches, and I am MAJORLY disappointed! It looks like all the lipsticks are lustre/glaze formula which I love, so the lip products will do me in, and maybe the pink blush and pink IPP, but I will be passing on the quads. I was so excited for the quad of LE shades, and now I feel like I don't need it

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed too. Like a month ago, I was so excited.. and now, I was thinking, "Huh.. Why was I SO excited about this?" And now I found out that the designs on the products are stickers..

I think I'm still gonna get Hipness, Sassed Up, and a lipstick and/or lipglass.

I was disappointed by the quads.. I think the only e/s I wanted from Fafi Eyes 1 were Pink Venus and Howzat. And I don't think it's worth buying the quad just for those two and for the packaging itself..

I think I still want to get quite a bit of stuff... but I am seriously disappointed about the designs being stickers and not actually printed on the compacts etc... It seems a bit cheap! And surely the picture will either wear off or the sticker will peel off over time. I don't want it to look tacky and cheap in a matter of months!

I was in one of the stores and saw the blushes in person!! Im so excited to get the two blushes from this collection.. Bummer there isnt any new pigments tho.. That would have been fun!

I'm not sure if i'm just attracted to this collection for the packaging! so sad to hear they are stickers - Hopefully it will be as good in real life x

Honestly (ducking here) I'm really happy to hear they're stickers so I'll be able to remove them. I hope that's the case with the lipsticks too. If I end up getting anything from this collection other than a couple of paint pots (which is my plan at the moment and I know they're not special packaging) I would much prefer the plain black. I may be in the minority on here but maybe it was MAC's thought that some customers (esp older ones) would not care for the packaging enough to where they would rather skip the purchase than pull it out of their bag (this would be where I raise my hand, lol) and decided stickers offered the best of both worlds?

My Fafi review after shopping at the MAC Pro this weekend.
I hope this helps!

-Some of lipsticks have some very different textures and colours than I have ever seen with MAC before (and I have a LOT!).
-the lipsticks are still pretty sheer, not too bold, at the opposite of the Heatherette collection I believe, of what I could see in the update book on the face charts. There are colors for any taste!
-The lipglosses are very pretty, shimmery and match well the l/s as usual. One of them has more pay off than the others, the plum brassy one: Squeeze It, my least favorite one.
-the blushes are very pretty, probably best for fair skin tones to my opinion but very dark complexions could also wear these very well as subtle hue on the cheeks. The pink one is a satin and the coral is just a stunning frost. We don't have anything like that.
-The iridescent powders are lovely, not too much different between Belightful and Verve-acaious to me.
Belightful seems darker than it was before in its other release but maybe I am wrong here, I just don't remember it having some slight copper in it. Verve-acaious is slightly lighter.
Both colors are perfect as highlighters. Not much pay off of fair skins maybe on very dark complexions??
Sassed up though has a lot more pay off, is so pretty! It has a peach tone and isn't just shimmery so reminded me as a beauty powder when I first saw it. Like Coupe Chic IPP but less pink.
Perfect to use as a blush as well and to have this healthy natural look that we all want!
-The quads are nice, my favorite being Fafi eyes 2 as there are NO repromotes! The orange, green and blue are realy nice. I couldn't think yet of dupes but the green reminds me of something, maybe lustreleaf?
And the packaging is so cute!
Fafi eyes 1 is all repromotes except Howzat e/s which is a gorgeous dark grey.
-Paint pots:
The nicest is perky, I can't think of any color that MAC or any other brand has made that would be similar. Very unique. The other ones are very nice too especially Cash Flow, reminds me of Summer Neutral, Rollickin' sheerer than Delphic, Nice Vice reminds me of a dirty Deep Purple Pro pigment, Girl Friendly is a non-shimmery fresco rose with a very slight hint of grey, Laying Low a yellow beige.
-The nai polishes are a must!!! These will sell out so fast! No special packaging on these.

-Very cute cosmetic bags and large tote. I didn't see a scarf. Not sure if it will be for sale as they didn't tell me about it when I pre-ordered.
I wish they had done some sunglasses to match with the large tote!!!

wow seeing swatches has cut down my list. I think only Strawbaby l/s.

The paintpots were exciting in theory but seeing them on someone (I still have to see for myself) is kinda "meh". I'll compare to my lovely Fresco Rose at the store but I sure don't see me breaking the bank for this. Alas. But at least Specktra is giving us super scoops on later collections that have me intrigued!

SYRENE78 I have to say thanks for your review...I have Sassed UP from Ebay & really thought it had no color payoff but after reading your review I decided to give it another try. I used my 129 brush & it really made a difference, it does have very nice color, I was just using the wrong brush.[/i]

But I have to stick up for Squeeze It...I got that from Ebay also & LOVE it, I think it's a great color

Wow, I think I had the exact opposite reaction upon seeing the swatches!! I thought the packaging was cute, but nothing I HAD to have, and when I saw the colors in the promos and read the color story, I wasn't impressed. After seeing the swatches, my list has doubled! Which is a bad thing..less money in the university fund,

After seeing the swatches and finding out about the finishes on the eye shadow and quads, I'm going to skip this collection, wait for it to show up at my CCO and then decide what, if any, things I want.

ETA: I do agree with syrene about Perky though. I picked it up off of eBay and it is a gorgous coral-pink color. It's easy to blend and has a nice satin finish. Perfect for brightening the eyes without a ton of shimmer.

What skintone are you if I may ask? I am NC15 and was wonderng about Sassed Up as maybe a blush, but I don't like anything too bright or glittery on my 45yr old skin.

I am so disappointed in the stickers being on the quads and not printed.
