fake 8 brush set?

Hi all, I'm new to specktra and i need your help. this was my first MAC buy from ebay and I bought it from tommygrl69 can you tell me if its counterfeit? I'm thinking it is becuase I read from another post that if it has a strong chemical smell then its probably a fake and this one does. Can I still return it if I used one of the brushes only once? Thanks guys!

If you paid via paypal just file a dispute so the money will get held in the sellers account and then contact the seller.
