Fake Prep & Prime Eye?

I just received a Prep & Prime Eye and I'm a bit concerned. The MAC box has a shiny finish with glitter (all of my MAC boxes have been matte black) and the lid is also shiny with the same glittery finish. I'll snap some pics when I get home.

The back of the box seems to be labeled correctly but the shiny finish is throwing me off. Could this be a fake?

The Prep and Prime line is like that. It's shiny even though the regular MAC packaging is black
