Hey just thought i'd edit this because some of the users are no longer registed or do not have anything listed. Checked on 12th Aug 2008.

Hi..This is 1165Cheryl and I do still sell just not on Ebay. I have my own store on Ecrater and sell direct via email. I've been in business for atleast 4 years now as a 1/2 tsp sample seller as many of you know here. I wanted to clear this up though for those who dont know me. There are some others on the list that don't sell on Ebay but do elsewhere due to they got tired of Ebays bs. Also 2 of the sellers I personally know are gone on emergency's and one told me last week she will be selling again on ebay in a few months.

Are you absolutely sure? This seller has an excellent reputation for low priced authentic mac and I have bought quite a few things from her as well and never received a counterfeit item. I also know where some of her stock comes from and they often have dcd or rtv stock they definitely do not sell fakes so you might like to post some pics for comparison first.

I am absolutely sure, I bought this brush from a Mac store when I went home on vacation in July and I wanted another one. I decided to get this brush from this seller base on this thread, instead of order from online.
Brush is fake, handle is plastic, letters is off, bristles are not the same. I will post picture soon, again the brush is fake.

This seller has been fabulous and I have really been pleased with her service and items. I know that sometimes older brushes that have been Dcd have been sold on ebay as well - I have one myself that was Dcd a little while ago, they often crop up for resale once they have been rtv and stocked at CCOs, eventually ending up on ebay. I would hope that this *could* be a Dcd or outdated version of the brush (as we have seen with some others here), but hopefully the pics will shed some light.

Top one is fake and the bottom one is real from the Mac store. In the holder the real one is on the left. Look closely at the letter, obviously off. I can't show you how it feels and weighs against the real one. The weight is off and the feel is hard plastic compared to the real one.

I'm stumped, I really dont know?? The top one isnt splayed like the bottom one, but that could be functional use of your store bought brush causing the splay. I cant see a huge difference in the lettering that may not just be due to minor inconsistency in manufacture. Obviously I cant feel or hold hold it - the one thing I DO note is that the ebay bought brush has a different ferrule to your store bought brush - the different crimp is quite apparent. I personally dont own this number brush - I'd like to see someone who owns one post their throughts as well

ugh!!! I HATE cosmeticland0!!! Very rude and did not reply to emails so when I left her negative feedback she left ME negative feedback (back before ebay FINALLY changed this policy) just to retaliate. I decided to chance it and buy something from her again (because im an idiot) and the eyeshadow arrived with a gouge in it! Says I shouldve bought insurance even though it was obviously shipped that way. I tried to write to her but now shes no longer a registered user on ebay!!!
ANYWAY the BEST experience I had was from: *allura* she has a pretty decent selection and i just checked my mail today (because i wasnt expecting anything important yesterday) and i got my package of lipglasses!!! i just paid for these last Thursday and they already came! Very sweet and awesome deal! Highly recommended!
Oh back to bad experiences, I WOULD NOT recommend bestfaceforward (or bestface4ward) or something like that... shipping took FOREVER and she made excuses upon excuses. she said she already mailed but when I FINALLY got the package the ship date was a week after she told me she sent it!!!

Is it possible to set up a survey on specktra so people can vote in their current fave ebay sellers? I was going through the list and saw some had under 98% with tons of negatives, plus someone thats listed has 2 feedback points but only for buying things (allThingsGirl) not as a seller. Just not sure it is accurate or up-to-date. If we can't do it that way, I'd be happy to help with the tallying. Just trying to find like the top 10 MAC sellers but going through that list was hard because a lot of them were not selling, never sold, or not registered. Thanks guys!!!

I recently got a fake jar of pigment from a well known ebay seller who has been selling for years with 3000+ 100% feedback. She had no idea it was a fake and is going through the rest of her pigments.She sells more then 1 line and didnt know what to watch for when it comes to fake MAC pigments. I was able to help her and give her some of the major signs along with telling her about specktra and all the info here. I also got another person last week that had no idea but she's new. It just shows it doesnt matter how long you have or have not been selling, the person needs to know how to spot fakes.

my-boo-kitty gets yet another vote from me! And I'd like to throw in ms_spring, who's been absolutely fabulous every time I've bought anything from her. The prices may be high, but living in a country with no MAC stores (I know, right?), I can't afford to be cheap. So to speak.
