Yeah, sometimes parents just have a way of venting their insecurities on their children, but as long as you are proud of yourself, don't let anyone ruin that for you.

You look gorgeous! And im sorry about your dad, finishing high school is such a big accomplishment that not a lot of people get to do. Well, I think that you should think of it as a challenge and a way to push yourself to do things that you want to do, follow your passin and you will be the best at it, then you can prove him wrong. Thats what I did with my dad. My dad said the same things to my mother and I when we left home, that I was never going to do anything, that I was going to probably be whore or something, but hey, in a year I will be a college graduate
