Gah! I feel bad.

Put it on ebay, since it's untouched! I'm sure it'd go fast. Or sell/swap it for something you DO want.

and don't go back to that MA- his hard sell tactics are just going to make his customers regret going to him, and you don't have to be one of them.

I will like to know what you bought.

Return it, it's your money after all. At least you get something back instead of the unused stuff just lying around rotting away.

If you are afraid you will be pressurized into buying stuff the next time you are there, either bring a friend along, go to a different SA, or just walk away. Practice makes perfect. I believe most of us were pressurized into buying something at one point or another so don't be too hard on yourself.

Maybe if you felt bad about returning it you could give them as a Christmas present? Just an idea

If not, then I probably would return it.

That's an EXCELLENT idea! That way you don't have to drive around looking for a parking spot like I had to for a half hour the other day at the mall. Save yourself and give your MAC as a Christmas present!

however, when we were done, and it was time for me to decide what i was going to buy, i kinda got caught up in it all, and he kept persuading me to spend a lot more than i had intended.

yes, i can see some of you ma's cringing now...

so, it sucks, cause i spent about 180, but would like to return about 4 things i know i will never use. probably about 50-60 dollars worth of stuff. i know these things will end up in the trash, even though i didn't even open the packaging.

i feel bad, but, i want my money back. should i just suck it up? or risk being a shmucky customer with buyer's remorse?

Take it back - and be honest with the guy that you need the money more than more makeup. We rely on our customers help us stay within the limits - maybe you both just got all wrapped up in it. I'd rather have the return than have someone stuck with a product they didn't like or needed the money instead... and fell awkward about bringing it back and I've appreciated their honesty - it helps me learn maybe some indicators as to when I might be making a forced sale. My whole mission is to make sure what we send you home with brings you joy.
