My SA asked if I wanted to be on the pre-sale list given the limited quantities available for the highlighter. I put my name down but am a little hesitant given the price, especially because I have a fair number of highlighters as is. For those who have it or have tried it, is it an absolute must have? I've seen swatches and reviews on blogs (including Sara's!) but am still hesitant given that it's so expensive. Thanks so much for any opinions!
The price is stopping me from preordering as well. I want it b/c it looks gorgeous & swatches beautifully (based on what I have seen online), but I have resisted so far. Plus I wouldn't want to use it.
I feel exactly the same way in that the swatches are gorgeous, and the combination of the color + finish doesn't look like it'd be easy to find an exact dupe. Unfortunately for my wallet, I typically cave in these situations especially when it's a hyped product!

Yes, it is pricey! But I figured as much. We've known about this item for a while so I was expecting it to be costly. Plus, Chanel is getting more and more expensive with these limited, specialty items. Plus, I'm highlighter crazy so it was a done deal. I still wonder if they ever brought back the $250 highlighter, would I get it. Anyone remember that one? It sold out too fast for me to even contemplate it. Actually, if they brought it back I'm sure it would cost more than that now. Those are all good points! Plus, compared to $250, $80 doesn't seem nearly as bad now.

I was surprised as well to see that. What I like about these anniversary sale is not only the exclusives but the fact that they usually have the fall collections much earlier than other places. Unfortunately so far, I have seen much as far as fall collections. I do remember in past years that some stuff started popping up later during the sale. So I'm going to keep an eye out.
