Hah! I finally got my Tissé Rhapsodie quad! It took quite some time to arrive here in Germany, but miraculously it didn't generate any extra costs for customs, so it wasn't that much more expensive. Still, despite the really positive experience with the shop (
bonboncosmetics.com, highly recommended for us Germans!) I'd so much prefer to not have to go this route in order to simply buy a quad.
And boy, would I have missed out! Rhapsodie is a lot better than the ones we got for spring, although I've liked Fantaisie a little better recently.
So yeah, although I now have what I want I can't stop being grumpy about those idiotic limitations to different countries. Chanel needed a long time to wake up to the fact that we all hated their European quad version, so I guess we're in for a long wait until they figure out that we hate this stupid thing as well.
Not that they're alone in this, however. Sometimes I wonder why all the highend companies are apparently unable to
pay someone to find out what their customers want. It seems strangely unprofessional to make customers resort to eBay or other shops in order to buy a particular product.
