Good to know. Thanks. It works ok for me if I use "Go Advanced" too, but I am just so tired of it.

I have had the same problem - I have to start typing in Ms Word and then when I copy and paste a few words in Specktra I can continue typing and spacing is not an issue.
Given most of us can type on this forum okay, I'm pretty confident it's a browser issue, not a website issue.
What browser are you (and others with this issue) using?

it is not a browser issue. i use same browser everywhere and randomly would have this issue on my laptop for example this morning and now i am using same laptop and same browser and it's working. then i would use desktop without an issue but at the same time laptop would have this happening.

I use the same browser (Chrome) but I can say that I could be using the same computer and not have the problem in one thread but have it in another thread like 5 minutes later. It happens both using my work computer and my personal but with both I use chrome. That said, if I hit enter as though I wanted to start a new paragraph and then hit backspace, the problem goes away. I think I also only get the problem when quoting someone as opposed to when making a fresh post from scratch.

I mostly use Chrome, on a desktop computer, but like others it sometimes works fine. I've had the problem, and been problem-free, both with and without quotes. I have not experienced it with Safari but I rarely post from my iPad (like I am now) so I really can't say whether Safari is okay for me. Is [MENTION=21522]elegant-one[/MENTION] using Safari on her iPad?

Yep....I just posted with no problem in Coco Code thread, then had the typing issue and had to Go Advanced to get around it in the Libre Synthetic thread (Shars' trick did not work for me), and now no problem in this thread. Yet Monsy is having problems in this thread right now. Crazy.
