Hope there is more to the Holiday collection, looks underwhelming. The thing that annoys me about the lion imprint is if you hold it upside down it looks like a fake.
Wish they would have made a quad out of the eyeshadows with the lion embossing, instead of separate eyeshadows.

Has anyone seen the Palette Essentielle in Caramel in stores? I just noticed it on Chanel.com. I'm wondering how long it has been there and if I can find it in stores. This is the darker shade we saw on the young actress a while back. I'm waiting to hear back from my SA but am impatient in the meantime. Thanks for any info.

I used the mascara base a few times. I'm having some trouble with it because I lose my curl after I use it. I may not be able to use this after curling my lashes. It does leave my lashes less brittle.

The new liquid eye liner is interesting. The brush is flat on the sides (kind of like the brush of the premier ombre but pointier) so you can do a thicker line and comes to a point to do a thin line. I just did a thin line all over the first few days but yesterday I started on the flat side and did a thick line and used the point to do a thin line in the inner corner. Also my lids can look wrinkly, not really in person but when I use liquid liner for some reason but it was easy to even out the line with the tip of the liner. I like it so far. It is one of those liquid liners that you have to put together like the Surratt liquid liner. The SA warned me that it took them a while to figure it out but I was confident since I had been using the Surratt. I put it together and then noticed the directions on the box. I don't know which I like best yet. I was using the Surratt but I went back to the Tom Ford. I don't know. The Surratt was really good. I did get a smoother line sometimes but I was just so used to the Tom Ford. I'm probably just going to use all 3 but the Chanel is definitely in the running. The brush is really unusual. Then again I can't say I'm a liquid liner brush connoisseur. Has anyone else tried this? Let me know if another company has a brush like this.

My SA called me in to Nordies to buy the Palette Essentielle in 185 Caramel. She didn't have a tester and only had a few palettes. I bought it any way. So if you were wondering if Nordies will get it . . . Now eye balling the concealer, it may work for me. We will see tomorrow if I don't forget but honestly I am so used to mixing concealers now I don't think I could ever be happy with just one color anymore but we'll see. I do wonder how the other colors compare to the summer palette. I was planning to pick that up too. I guess I better get to it as summer is ending.

I'm glad for you that you managed to get the Caramel-PE. I perfectly know what you mean telling about mixing concealer(s) on a regular basis. Just take another look at the Summer PE. It literally made my summer! And used as a highlighter-blush-combo it will perhaps even work for Christmas :hehe:
