Getting a new digital camera!

My boyfriend wants to buy me a new digital camera, it has taken me forever to find the one I want. I usually don't stay too far from Canon, but I decided I wanted to try this newer Sony model:

Does anyone else own this model or know someone who does? I currently have a Canon PowerShot SD400 that I got back in 2005.

I dunno cameras that well, but it looks like a good camera, especially for taking close ups and landscapes!

i havent used the sony model, it looks pretty good! I love cameras!

i just got a Fuji FinePix A800, 8.3 mega pixels for like £90. it's awesome
