LOL Yes, I noticed he does just fine on his own. Doesn't Janice have a leash for him? or maybe a whip!

I do! But only dear, definitely not hun or sweetie. It really depends on the situation, and how friendly the other party is.

Most of the time I'll utter a chirpy "thanks dear!" to a post office staff or sales assistant who has been particularly attentive. I don't do that to guys though! LOL.

I always say sweetie, cutie, baby...but i dunno, it tends to drive men nutso...lol....

i HATE hun....i rather be called honey, because at least it's not some random pet name you give to strangers, and teenagers wouldn't use it, i can actually call my boyfriend honey without feeling like a total tool

I don't like being called hun, dear, or sweetie at all (online or off). It just strikes me as so condescending most of the time.

YES.
Ooooo I just turn downright evil & grow horns when anyone that doesn't know me calls me "Hun, Honey, Dear, Sweetie, Babydoll, Sugar, Sweetheart," etc. ESPECIALLY when it's in person. Over the phone I can deal with b/c I just hangup. I HOPE they don't mean anything by it (and they better not), because I find it so condecending!
It makes me grind my teeth even more when it's from a sales person. And I really don't care who they are or how old they are. I've seriouslly had to restrain myself from bitch-slapping them & asking if they think they know me that well to call me that. One of these days though... I'm gonna snap...
That pretty much goes for any guy that tried to pick me up too.
I'm getting a tick just thinking about it....
Other than that, I swear I'm a nice person

I'm a receptionist for 4 different companies, including over 60 stores. And this one store manager always ALWAYS calls me 'babe'. It just sounds so tacky. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

My bf hates being called anything like that by anyone except me. I just feel like a ho saying 'babe'

Alot of people at work call me 'love', 'darl' or 'missy' because I'm young and I sound so young on the phone and they're all old.

It really irritates me when someone calls me dear or sweetie, I find it EXTREMELY condescending and patronizing.
