Was reading over this thread and I just had to add that "Better Call Saul" is filming in the building I work in. I keep playing hookey to go watch scenes (what a slow process!!), but I did get to see the makeup artist working on Bob Odenkirk. Coudn't identify the brushes from the third floor balcony though. But I was pretty sure they weren't Japanese. lol!

Yes fortunately I don't have to rush to get Dore, but I'm definitely going to keep it on my list and probably get it at some point. Do you have the Hourglass Diffused Light? That is on my list too. Was just curious how it compares. Just reassure your ambient lighting powders that just because you're welcoming a new addition to the family it doesn't mean you'll love them any less LOL

Diffused Light is my everyday setting powder. I've almost finished the first one (hit 'pan' - really a plastic grid-like base) awhile ago and now I'm just watching the circle get bigger and bigger…I have another that I bought last year as a backup. I wore this daily for a year and didn't run out, so I got really good value out of it.

I wear the Meteorites over Diffused; they don't serve the same purpose.

Yay just got mine!! It came in perfect without any broken balls :haha: I had around 4 red ones, a lot pink ones and is more a rosy beige than bronze which I lurve!!! I am still not happy about the fact that they reduced the qty to 85 oz from 1.86 last year!! :shock:

The teint Dore I have is also the older bigger version! So this looks like so little/less when compared. The perm versions are also now the same size so it makes sense I guess!

Thats freakin awesome! I LOVE Bob Odenkirk soooooooooo much & Better Call Saul - one of my favorite characters EVER!

I just received the Meteorites this morning! Ahhh....it was worth every single penny. On my NC45 skin tone it adds warmth to my skin. I thought it would be too similar from what I already own (#4 Dore from the permanent collection) and its opposite. Dore is more of a brightener on me while D'etoile adds warmth. So with that I'm very happy with this one. My only complaint is that I only have two red balls. Everything else seems to show an even amount of colors. I was thinking of getting another one just to see if my luck is any better with getting more red one's but after I applied it in the restroom (I was at work) I don't think having additional red balls is going to be that much of a difference. So for those on the fence about getting these....don't be! Its well worth the splurge.

I'm so, so glad your balls arrived intact and that you love them!

Yes!!! I was so nervous about Dore and D'Etoile being one in the same. At least with Dore you can take your time making that purchase because its permanent. I think my Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders are going to be very jealous with a second Guerlain Meteorites addition to the family.lol

im so glad you asked because that motivated me to wear it. I LOVE it and it smells pretty. My first Guerlain lipstick(or lip item period) and i absolutely love it.

I need this color asap! Amazing!
