GUESS WHO GOT THEIR BABIES YESTERDAY!?

The story is actually kind of adorable, too. So, I was obsessing trying to decide if I should buy them online (when they were still available) and I asked my husband what I should do since there were two upcoming sales that I could potentially take advantage of. He told me to wait it out even though I explained it was LE, then the next day they sold out! We drove out to a Sephora in the suburbs and an SA had to go to the back to find them (she had no idea what I was talking about - thought it was eyeshadow and pronounced it "Grr-LANE" lol). He felt guilty and when we were at the checkout he whipped out his card before I could pay! I'm so excited I haven't even taken them box out of the Sephora bag!

Tell me about it! I bought the Chanel highlighter this weekend and I am picking up some of the FNO stuff that I had them put on hold (so I've also become one of those people who calls the stores) and I'm on a serious ball hunt. (Heh.)

I am so excited! I just got the holiday ballz delivered . It is my very first ballz I got 3 red, 7 pink, and 10 of the very dark ones. There was a mix of the other colors. THe jar was half full. Is that normal? I wanted a lot of red and pink and would like to know if this is what most people received or if there are some that have more red and pink ballz? Also, how many really dark ones. Thank you. I am a ballz newbie so don't know what is normal for these?

I wore my Dore 4 balls today. I noticed after I put them on my face was a little tingly. I didnt think much of it until this afternoon i was in full on itch mode. Now even after I removed them my face is red and itchy. Im thinking it might be the perfume in them. Dang it!!

That happened to me when I first bought into the addiction. After about a week of use the tingly feeling went way. Now the itching...didn't happen to me but if it did...it would be a no go for me. The fragrance might be an irritant for you.

Just a warning; I LOVED this foundation from a coverage and colour perspective, but it wrecked havoc on my skin because it contains alcohol. Why a premium beauty company would put alcohol in a foundation is beyond me. SMH.

That is normal for Guerlain Meteorites. You don't get a full container as they're measured by weight, not volume. They used to give you more, but they have decreased the quantity over the years. With this holiday release, you get even less than you would with the permanent versions. The number of pearls you get for each color will also vary per container; no two jars are alike. I think they only need to make sure that you get some of everything, so mine will be different from yours. I received 3 red ones, 8-10 pink ones, about 5 copper ones, and the rest is a mixture of the white and gold balls. My sister received 4 reds, about 8 pinks, and a nice mixture of the other shades.

Hope that helps! Meteorites are really lovely, and once you buy one, you're very tempted to buy at least another version.

Although I'm NW43NW45 (complexion equivalent of NC50), I have Sun Brunette and it's a straight up peachy highlight on me so I would suggest if you're ordering blind, go for the 05 powder as the Sun Brunette might not be what you're looking for depending on how light or heavy you like your bronzer.
