How annoying TF gave you a number to call. I bet they're hesitant to answer that question and are hoping you won't bother to follow-up! Not good CS. I'm not going to follow-up with another email to Guerlain at this point. I had inquired about what shade of the meteorites compact to choose based on one's skin tone, and since they didn't reply I just had to blindly choose. So, too late now. :sigh:  

Oh! Well, I've been there :/ I might have almost preferred that they said they had no plans at the present time or it's possible or here's a dupe or something but that's probably because I get so tired of being on the phone. SO TIRED. lol

The compact orders getting cancelled suggests to me that there is some kind of glitch w/Nordstroms. I think our collective understanding is that these compacts are going to be perm. They are machine-made so I don't think we are going to have the same supply problem we've seen with the hand-made Guerlain sell-outs of the past.

I'm totally guessing, but I wonder if Nordstrom's automatically cancels back-orders if the items don't come in stock on the due date (because you have to check the OK box for 1/6, and now its later)?

I think if I were looking to get the blush balls, I'd keep my eye on stock levels elsewhere though. Those seem more like 'true' limited edition items.

If I do a search for stock levels at my local Neiman counter, it said that the compacts can be picked up in 2-3 days (sort of not counting on that!). I wonder if its just too early for these orders and Guerlain isn't quite shipping on schedule yet.

I woke up to a cancellation yesterday morning too and I was like "WTH???" The very first thing I did was open up Bloomingdale's an order them. I'm pretty sure Nordstrom doesn't automatically cancel backorders. I've back/preordered I few things from them before, and if something doesn't come in on time, they send you an email telling you and ask you if you want to keep waiting or if you want to cancel the order.

Just picked up the Baby Glow in 02 and the Pressed Meteorites in 02 at The Bay.

The Baby Glow sheers out nicely after you apply it. It has a strong scent, but I like it (violets). The Pressed Meteorites are almost invisible on my NC15-ish skin, which I am OK with.

If these compacts are permanent, I will shed tears of joy. I used 2 compacts of the old pressed Meteorites (the ones that just had the flower stamped and weren't mosaiced) and was so sad when they were DC'd.

Trying to wait patiently so I can get 2 or all 3 of them, plus the nail polish.

My crazy eyeshadow hauling over the past 2 months has me passing on all of the shadows this spring- finally!

I absolutely LOVE that you loved them so much. I hope to as well, and will likely end up with more than one of the compacts!
