I like that Urban Decay is their big sister though.

YES! I was going to say the same thing. I remember the nail polishes were really big around 1995-ish. They had some of the coolest colors and they came with these jelly rings that matched the nail polish. I had a turquoise one. I also had some lipstick (probably the first "nice" lipstick I owned). I got it in 6th or 7th grade and it was the brightest 14 karat gold color. I remember my mom flipping out at how much it cost.

Looking at hard candy now it has changed a lot and the prices are way too high IMO. Now that everything is 50% off I would consider buying the e/s palettes. I like UD better though, the products are worth the price.

HAHA! I find it so ironic that I just bought a eyeshadow and a lip gloss from Sephora today because I noticed it was 50% off! I also remember the nail polishes, especially from when I was about 9 or 10 years old.

Remember in "The Parent Trap" with Lindsey Lohan when they were all playing poker in the camp? I remember a Hard Candy nail polish in the pot, and that's when I bought my first one WAYYY back then. Haha, that is so ironic.

Hard Candy does have a few hidden gems like:
Hint Tint
Get Cheeky
Eye Shadow Quads
SoCal bronzer
Super Shine Gloss (especially Fresh, a perfect nude)

The packaging is adorable! It was actually the first brand I was into when I first found out about Sephora. I'm a teenager myself, and it really does look like it would be geared towards me. But, I don't like their products. I've only tried a few, but I didn't like any of them. Their eyeshadows were ehhhh and the glosses were okay. I found all the shades of eyeshadows to be too pale and pastel, not my style. I thought everyone would be ragging on the eyeshadows, but I guess not, haha.
