has anyone ever crushed up an eyeshadow?

I crushed my NARS Albatross as I couldn't get the consistency right to apply it as a highlighter (severe makeup noobery) but I find that it works far better crushed for me than it did in pan form. Now I can apply it practically anywhere, I was wearing a creamy pearl coloured outfit and I mixed some Albatross in with my nail polish and got the perfect pearly colour.

haha ..i pressed a pigment once and I went to use it for the first time and it just puffed into smoke and powder lmao
I think it was either to little or to much alchohol...

oh...another thing. I had already hit pan on one of my mac bronzers ..but i dropped it on my tile and it was all chunky. So, I crushed it up pretty fine and it worked out really well.

I don't really know if I could find the nerve to do that with my MAC. I'd feel as if I was committing murder or something
