I agree with the people saying go with a more natural look. Maybe having one thing that is a littler "louder" while the rest is subdued may help. Oh and also choice of clothing. It sucks when other people can just wear jeans and a shirt and look their age or older and you have to wear something more "adult" but it can go a long way.
I also agree with whoever said darken theh hair...for some reason, having darker makes ppl look older. Not sure why. Though, I have almost black hair (naturally) and still get carded for rater R movies even though I am 23 and the person behind the counter is at most 17!
Good luck! And from one teacher in training to another, don't worry about being able to command the class. It's more in attitude than anything imo.
