how mac hires freestanding/department store

ok so i got a call back from nordstorms to have an interview for a cosmetics counter they didnt say which one but i stressed i loved mac the lady was very rude and basically told me not even to interview if i cant work nights since i go to a makeup academy at night WHATEVER. anyways i did apply to a freestanding mac store by me but they are not hiring . im dying to get my foot in the door at mac any tips or tricks im basically at my freestanding mac store every weekend buying goodies

I'm not sure about MAC, but I have to assume it's going to be tough getting your foot in the door unless you can give some nights and weekends - the weekday hours tend to be snagged by full-timers and more senior staff. Personally, I wouldn't hire anyone who couldn't give at least one weekend day and one weeknight if they were interested in a starting position.
