I think its a good way for me to socialise with people.
I work with ladies in their 30's and 40's. Not that I don't like older persons than me but I'm 26 and my interests arent theirs.

3 years ago I changed town, left my old life behind and started over. I've met a lot of people trought (??) internet boards and some of them are friends but again, space is between us, I can not see them as often as we would like.

Its also a good way to improve my english, by talking to people all over the world, I love Specktra for this. Here, people don't seem to judge me as much as some other places I've been to.

I also met my bf in part because of internet. I had this computer desk to give away on a Yahoo community (partly in french) and the first person who answered me didnt came to take it. So I chose in the list of people who wrote me and this cute guy came over at my place, I left the desk in the hallway of the building. I tought (??) he was really cute but thats it. He wrote me back the next day and asked me if I would like to stay in touch. Few weeks later we were together, and still are, since 8 months!
