How to clean your dirty NARS compact.

does any one else's compacts get like a sticky feeling?

I used alcohol, and then rubbed baby powder on them so they wouldn't get tacky again. I store them now in an airtight container and that has solved the problem. The alcohol took some of the writing off, but I don't care. I couldn't stand it anymore.

Yes mine get sticky and nasty too. They need to make those compacts w/o that rubber stuff

How annoying are these stupid compacts?!?! I love the products, but honestly feel like I use them less often because there is not way to avoid getting the stupid packaging filthy everytime.

I jus read on reddit some blogs that the better way would be to clean the packaging with house multi-use cleaner and then swipe silica/silica-base powder (like mufe hd and many others) over.

They said that this method is most effective for when the packaging is already durty and tacky and that, in their experience, alchool removed the nars printed on the packaging and made the tackyness worse, wich also occured when they used baby wipes, makeup remover and/or brush cleanner.

The only thing I've tried was cleaning with alchool and that did not work at all. I should try the other methods and see what really works for me. Mostly because all my real techiques brushes base are in the same gunk, tacky and dirty situation.
