You think the 16 year old girls in the customer service department taking returns really care? We didn't care eigther, we just sold it as an open box item, and sold someone one of those warrenties with it when they bought it.

And typically it was like brand. AKA, old Sony model would be returned in a new sony box.

My nieces step mother did this, and guess what? She was arrested after the store discovered what she did. What a damn fool.
