I am stuck :\ Suggestions please

I want a nude lippie but I can't seem to decide on which one I want. I have swatched them side by side @ the counter but eh, when you're in a hurry, they all look the same lol

I have nude lipglasses in chai and bonus beat which I lovvvvvvvve. But I need a lipstick, more matte, or amplified creme. I don't want a glossy feel or look to it.

I have tried Fleshpot and lets not even go there. I look like a corpse. So I returned it.

Myth I have not tried on my lips but have swatched. I wonder if it will suit me better. I am NC35 btw.

Blankety I have swatched as well, but I honestly don't know.

If you're wondering why I haven't tried them on my lips. The answer is simple. I HATE TESTERS.

But maybe with the help of you specktralites, I can come to a decision. And most of you know what I look like so opinions are welcome. =)

I'm NC30 and fleshpot made me look dead too. Try Honeylove or Fresh Brew.

Oooh...they are both so similar! I tried blankety and swapped it away. It was just too intense of a nude for my taste - it is an amplified cream. I like something more subtle that isn't SO mod that I can build or put a gloss over. Blankety is more of a pink beige whereas Myth is more of a peach beige if that helps. Let us know what lippie you pick and take pictures!

yeah i hate testers too but colors look different when swatched on the hand than on lips..

personally i really like Blankety i think you should give it a try =) i also like Cherish a lot!

I think myth might be too light and have the same effect as fleshpot though.

besides Honeylove I'd say Spirit and Mocha too, their more of a brownish beige which might look better then something like Myth or Fleshpot.

Did you try Fleshpot with a lipliner? I'm an NC40 and it looks great with a lipliner.

Have you seen NARS Blonde Venus, Belle Du Jour or Honolulu Honey? These are all matte nudes that really show up and stay on!

Some combos: Hover l/l with Underplay l/s; Stripdown l/l with either Honeyflower or Freckletone l/s.

Try patting Fleshpot lightly onto lips filled with Creamola, Cream o' Spice, or whatever your favorite nude liner is for your skintone. I was about to return Fleshpot too until I tried it over Creamola and now I love it!

I love myth but the only way i can make it work is by layering it with other colors to lighten them, if you hate fleshpot you will hate myth. Blankety is probably a good bet xx

A lot of Japanese girls I know that are nw/nc35 use Siss as a nude lipstick. It looks hot on them, and many Japanese magazines rave about it as a nude color for medium skinned girls.

I wear Myth with lipglass ALL the time, and I'm NC37. So it will probably work for you too! good luck

I love Belle Du Jour and Honolulu Honey from Nars. That's what I use to get a nude lip, and I just add C-Thru over it.

Have you tried the Lip Erase in Dim? When I want a nude lip I use that since it neutralizes my natural lip color so it's neither too pink/peach/yellow, it just matches my skintone better. It can apply kinda dry so I'll either prep with some balm/tendertone then finish with clear lipglass or a nude. Buuuttt since you're a KK fan...go for blankety.
