Thanks y'all! Dang I can't believe this thread was like 4 months ago! lol My friend has actually now lost over 100 pounds since the surgery... She was over 300 lbs and a size 26/28 before her gastric bypass and the other day she bought a size 16 dress! I could not be more proud of her!

We're gonna make plans to out and celebrate soon so I'm gonna have to get my hands on her and do her makeup again!

I agree with you to an extent however i think that some ppl have to be honest after all you are posting things online where everyone has their personal opinion... I personally have seen many ppl that post fotd's and alot of them are complimented on makeup that looks really bad or poorly done.. yet these girls are being told that their makeup looks "beautiful" and "awesome job" when in reality it is horribly done. Just keeping it real..

I know what you are saying but the situation I was referring to was her real life "friend" who knows nothing about makeup, nor does she wear any, and was basically just trying to bring her down because it was pretty obvious she was jealous of the attention she wasn't getting (she's been known to act like that in the past). I do, however agree with what you're saying about this forum and see that sometimes, but a lot of times, people will offer comments along with encouragement. If I see a way someone could improve their technique I always try to offer suggestions while finding something positive about what they did. We all started somewhere and there's no reason to be like 'hey that looks terrible,' because we're all trying to improve and there's always going to be someone better, ya know.

^^ i hear ya... I guess that was kinda the concept they were referring in another specktra forum that ppl dont really give real CC at all. Everyone just kinda agrees things look good when in reality it looks pretty bad. I kinda feel sorry for the ppl that think that looks good and then ends up going out in public looking like a clown. I know we all started somewhere but i think ppl should be more honest. About that "frenemy" , well if she doesnt wear makeup in the first place maybe she should keep her mouth shut ! Your look for your friend came out good though ! Keep up the good work .
