I just read this thread for the first time today and I'm absolutely dying to find out what happened. If she is judging you soley based on how you looked as a customer one time before, she needs a few more lessons in management before she is truly qualified to hold the position she has. Okay, so she never called me so at 5:30pm EST I gave the store a call and they said she was at break so I asked them to tell her that I called. It's now 7:00pm and I haven't heard anything back

I don't know what this means. I wish I could just get an answer already so I can move on with my life, the anticipation is M-U-R-D-E-R!!! lol.

Totally appreciating all the positive thoughts and well-wishes though. My fingers are crossed so hard, they're breaking!!!

Any thoughts on what I should do next? Part of me wants to call again but I don't wanna seem like a bug-a-boo.

I go to fill out paperwork tmrw and she said I can start as early as July 9th. "Once my paperwork goes through". Can anyone tell me what that means exactly? I know I'll find out tomorrow but like I said, I'm super detail-oriented and always like to know things in advance, when possible.

"Paperwork" usually does not take more than a few days to go through. No more than a week.

Paperwork meaning.....W2 form, blood tests (if needed), getting you on the payroll, things like that.

Yay congrats!!!! It took me about two and a half weeks for my MAC paperwork to go through. It's your tax forms and a few confidentiality agreements and such. For some reason it takes them a while to process their stuff.

I don't know them, but still, I'd have been pissed.
