Smashbox Case *photo of carousel

I carry mine around in these cases by Smashbox, I remove the mirror because it rubs the lids. I keep the trays that I am not using in my traincase or flat in a file tray that way I can find the colors easier.

I recently found an old paint set in my closet. When I went to throw it out, I discovered that the eyeshadows fit in the slots (sdeways) of the lazy susan style display. I have wanted to take a picture of this, but my camera is out of order.

I haven't had the chance, but when I do, I will search toy stores and art supply stores for a similar but larger version.

I don't like depotting either, my collection is not so large it's uncontrollable tho (I'm a newbie). What I do is, I put all the pots in their boxes, put all the boxes in another bigger box (like a shoe box) then line them all up with the name of the e/s facing up and sort the colour family per row. For example, I'd put all my greens on 1 row, next row is blue, then purple etc etc. Unfortunately you don't get to see the colours, I pick my e/s by their names and visualising

Lah _knee - i have a mini box set which i have been thinking i will use for now as i don't have loads of eyeshadows either!

Thanks for everyone suggestions, hopefully when my collection is big enough i'll find some good ways of storing them ''pallette' style!
