It always seems like people closest to us know all too well what our insecurities are and find ways to highlight them to us. Ex. my grandmother who I do love most of the time ALWAYS comments on how I have fairly small breasts. It does not help that this is what I am most self conscious of about my body either. One day I just lost it and I was like "leave me the fuck alone!" she said "don't yell at me like that!" all surprised like she was wondering what she said wrong. so i was just like "then shut up". Maybe some of you will think this was mean but she said this in front of: my aunt, my bf, my bfs friend, and my bfs friends gf who i just met that day :|
although i do admit, that probably won't have changed a thing. but i think i'm afraid to be honest and say that it really hurts my feelings when she says that. hopefully you can do this with your mom and be braver than i am
