I dont think it's a big deal. Roomates need to learn that when your door is shut, it's knock first, wait for person inside to say, "come in," then open the door.
So imho it's her bad.
I've had roomates walk in on me during other potentially embarasing situations, so I woulnd't worry about it too much.

So like we get to my house and no one is home. We were watching TV and cuddling on the couch, and well one thing led to another and were got into this heavy petting situation. I tell him to go lock the door, and he's like, "no one is gonna come home dont worry about it." Fast forward... lol
So like at this point he's going down on me, and we were really into it so we didn't hear my Mom come home. My Mom has one of those super quiet garages lol. My mom gets home and immediateley turns the knob on the door to my room and tries to get into my room. She was like shaking the door lol. We dont say anything. She call out my name.
Now at this point I've got my boyfriends head inbetween my legs LOL, and I'm not really in the mood to talk. SO i'm like, "what!" She like, "Are you ok?" I'm like, "YES!" lol
OMG WTF?!? lol. She wants to have a fricking conversation when I'm like about to lose my virginity lol (I dont qualify oral as sex). So she goes and does something in the Garage, and we go back to what we were doing.
Long story short, i wasn't comfortable going the whole way with my Mom home lol, so after we finished (we came out like 15 minutes later lol), we slipped out of the house, walked right past my Mom w/out saying a word, got into his car, and drove away.
She was SO PISSESD when i got home that night LOL!

Haha.. yeah my dad came home late (he was supposed to be gone for the weekend ) i was around 19..
and he caught me walking around in my underwear and my boyfriends car was outside..
my dad went back outside got into his car. and did a huge burnout.. he was pist. he didnt come home for a half hour. then he kicked me out of the house for 2 weeks. I lived out of my car. it was awful.
now when i got to visit my dad i dont even sit near my boyfriend.. haha
My boyfriend did go apologize a few days later he had a chat with my dad. that was pretty awesome of him .. Id be scared shitless of my dad if i were him

LOL...Really, though...I think that's one of those things you don't mind doing, but it's human nature to want to keep it under wraps. It's part of life and only an idiot would poke fun at/laugh about it. Honestly, if your roommate came to me saying she caught you, I would look at her like

oh man a few years ago i was doing the same thing, and my little brother busted into my room, followed by the NANNY

One of the worst "oops" moments husband and I have ever had was a walk in.
We're both pretty sexual people, which works out well for us.
One night, the kids are with their dad, Squid is with us, but it's like 1130, so he's in bed.
We were in the kitchen in a rather compromising position and having a great time when he walks down the hall and around the corner.
I have never IN MY LIFE moved so fast.

OH KITTY!!!!!!! Many of the girls on here have said "Oh, don't worry about it"...but in fact, I think many people would be damn horrified if they were in the same...um...position....Yes, it's *perfectly* natural, and there's nothing wrong with doing that...but who the hell wants to be caught doing it?? I mean, if you saw something like that, wouldn't you DETOUR and let the couple keep their dignity??????? I've got a better one lol...
This one is by myself, in my old apartment... SImilar situation, roomates, we all had our own rooms... However, rooms did not have locks (who's dumb idea was this? stupid landlord lol). Our house was 2 girls (myself and 1 other roomate, and 1 guy).
Anyways, I'm a little busy, when I hear the front door slam. Guess Im not home alone anymore. The guy calls out, "Anyone home?!?" Now I'm kinda busy, and dont respond. However I do get up quickly and run to my door, since his door is right next to mine, and the last thing I want is him barging in on my duringprivate time LOL.
So he knocks on my door, and is like, "Anyone home?!?" Again I dont respond since I'm kinda in a compromising situation, and would rather he just go in his room so I can get dressed. Now my hand is on the knob holding it shut, and he starts turning the knob to open my door. So I lean against the door to prevent him from barging in on me LOL. Since the door doesn't open immediateley, he really starts pushing on it, and he's like a lot bigger and stronger than I was lol, so the door starts to open. At that point I'm like, "OMG dont come in I'm not dressed!!!" And he stops pushing on the door and is like, "Um sorry? When no one answered and I couldn't get in, I thought there was someone inside our house, I didn't see your car out front." I'm like, "Why are you opening my door anyways! Stay out of my room when I'm not home!" LOL I totally went off on him.
Needless to say, that was the last timehe tried to openmy door... haha
