Is anyone else scared to go into a PRO store?

I got to go to one when we visited family in Mission Viejo, Ca. It was awesome! I'd def go there instead of the counter. I wish there was one here in Columbia.

i would go when it's not so busy so that you're not overwhelmed and you can get attention if you need it. just take your time and browse around.
if you do splurge, just tell yourself that it was because they're harder to get items since you don't shop at the pro store so often

I've been to the London, Paris, and now LA Pro Store... Last Saturday when I was at the LA Pro store, I just grabbed the first MA I saw, and started listing off what I wanted. I ended up spending 250 dollars. I am sure he was quite happy. He asked me if I was a MAC MA. I said no. He said am I a makeup artist at all? I said no. he said i should be. i felt good. and i got a ton of great things. yay.

I have never been to one, I think the nearest one is Miami? lol! But seriously if you have the opportunity then go for it! I'm sure they won't think anything but "oh, good a customer!"

I avoid the counters in department stores as much as I can, the service isn't as good because they are usually under-staffed and I don't get the 1-to-1 service I value in pro stores. The pro store here in Montreal is great, I try to go on a weekday and it's often totally empty! The MAs are super helpful and recognize me by now and often apply products on me.

I usually go in there with minimal or no make-up at all because I like to try out products on my face so whats the point of going in there with fab make-up.

i hate going to any mac store period. I love the makeup but i hate the people who work there. ive been to mac stores in 3 diff. states and ive had bad experiences at all of them, the MUA are always very rude
