I think its just plain weird. Honestly, if you feel the need to cyber, then you probably aren't getting something out of the relationship you have and should work on those sorts of things with your so.
Sure, you arent touching anyone but yourself, but you are interacting with someone and fantasizing that you are touching them. So yeah, its cheating. And its weird.

That's not wholly true, IMO.
To make that statement is to make the statement that fantasizing means that something is missing from a relationship as well.

What about people who do all sorts of roleplaying with their SO? You may technically be having sex with your SO, but you're pretending s/he is a sexy schoolgirl, a secretary, a priest, a vampire, an animal, etc.

In my relationship, I would consider it cheating. Others may not...whatever floats their boat.
